Battle droids, most notably B1 battle droids but others included, were millions of manufactured soldiers used by the CIS in the Clone Wars. They were kind of useless but helpful at the same time.

These droids commonly repeated the phrase "Roger, roger," for no reason. It is used as a popular comedic quote. It is also used as an affirmative statement, similar to "I understand."
