These are the guidelines, or rules, that must be followed when editing. Failure to comply after three warnings will result in a ban.
The Rules
- Due to our innocent environment, and lack of general vulgarity in Star Wars, profanity is prohibited. If you would like to upload a specific meme to an article for exemplification that contains profanity, please speak to an administrator. In order to facilitate, you may upload the image without posting it on the article.
- The same applies to suggestive or titillating memes. However, these are always forbidden, and may not be uploaded. Failure to comply with the rule will result in deletion of the image and a warning.
- Profanity is, although frowned upon by some, permitted in the comment section. However, if it is purely spam, vandalism, or otherwise malicious intent, it will be deleted and you will be given a warning.
- Always follow our Manual of Style. Failure to comply with this rule will, however, not result in a warning if the violation is out of good faith. Good faith or not, regardless, the edit will be reverted.
- If your edit is reverted more than three times, you will be given a warning. Edit-wars are completely forbidden.
- Vandalism will not be tolerated. Clear bad-faith edits will be reverted, and will result in a warning. Three vandalisms will result in an instant ban.
- Do not spam edits, comments, or vandalism. This should be a given. Do not. Three consecutive spams will result in an instant ban.
- Do not just make articles about a specific meme you found on discussions, Reddit, or other third-party websites. Articles are purely for specifically memed reaction images, exploitable images, other meme templates, quotes, characters, or other in-universe elements. Please see our Manual of Style for more information on this.
- Be kind. We don't need your negativity, if you got any! We're a fully edifying community (or we try to be), and any negativity, trolling, or otherwise offensive edits and/or comments will not be tolerated. As usual, failure to comply will result in a warning.
- Do not upload your personal fan-art, or otherwise user-made images, unless it is for your personal profile. Of course, fan-art is always allowed on the discussions page.
